London, Week 1 (and a bit)
Another quick update, as we are only on dial-up, and it is quite painful ;)
We've been settling in, and have now officially moved into one of the rooms in the same flat as my mate Justin lives in....was simply good timing, as another couple had already been scheduled to move in, and had pulled out at last moment, so that saved us a lot of stress and hassle trying to find a place.
Everyone here is very nice, and the place is kept nice and tidy between us all.
It was a long weekend here this last weekend, which unfortunately meant 1 less day for job-hunting (which has once again become our full time occupation).
Luckily for us though, there are more jobs than we can possibly apply for over here ...this morning alone there was over 600 new IT/tech/helpdesk type roles for me to look over.

We've both had positive responses so far to job applications, I've been in for one interview already (last Friday) and am waiting to hear about that, and Caren has just gone in for an interview this morning..***update, Caren has just called to say she has been offered the job and starts tomorrow! ****
Other than job hunting, we've been doing a little bit of site seeing (though not much yet), and a fair bit of food shopping ;)

It has been a LOT easier moving into a flat that already has everything you could need (pots, pans, plates, cutlery, couches, beds, glasses, cleaning stuff, fridges etc...) so we're grateful for that, rather than having to start completely afresh again with all of that stuff.

It's Spring now, so its been a mixture of 23 - 28 degree sunny days, and 8 - 10 degree rainy/cloudy days.
